Before there was Facebook, or the World Wide Web, there was AppleLink Personal Edition. This is the rare collectible pre-release diskette and manual sent out confidentially in 1988 before launch. Both the program and manual were not in the final version, but still under development. AppleLink was eventually scrapped about 6 years later as the internet became commercially available, but it served as the precursor of America Online.
