Oil on panel 12” x 12” After reading a vivid description of observing plum blossoms and Japanese White Eye birds that frequent them, I felt compelled to try my best to depict them for all posterity. Achieving the airy- lightness and even the sweet fragrance of the fragile blossoms was a wonderful challenge. As with any surreal and beautiful scenery, birds are sure to be near.
