Free Spirit Pattern

Free Spirit is my newest pattern and is such an amazing design.  It is so versatile, it could be made up with solid fabrics, like my sample – or you could put it together with your favorite fabric prints.  The solid fabric quilt top lends to more quilting possibilities because of the negative space, while a busy fabric choice would work better with an edge to edge quilting design.  Either way, it’s up to you.  I just hope you have as much fun putting this quilt together as I have.  With this design, you can’t go wrong on your fabric choices. Fabric Requirements 2 1/4 yards blue (A) fabric 2 yards pink (B) fabric 2 yards green (C) fabric 5 yards grey/background (D) fabric 2/3 yard binding 5 yards 44” wide fabric for backing 90 X 90 inch batting Finished quilt size is approximately 85 X 85 inches.
