Hand pulled silkscreen by Andrew Jeffrey Wright for Beautiful Losers, 2004. These haven't been available since 2004. AJW created this silkscreen print for our companion/satellite exhibition Beaver College, which opened the same weekend as the very first inaugural Beautiful Losers exhibition. The exhibit focused on the output of 3 influential art collectives of the time: The Royal Art Lodge, Paper Rodeo, and Space 1026. The print was personally silkscreened by AJW and it is a signed, dated and numbered edition of 120.Beaver College was exhibited in a historic brewery-turned-arts space called the Mockbee. It's a huge, multi-story building and we occupied all 3 floors of it. The ground floor was where the art exhibition was installed. The 2nd floor was a performance space where two really notable bands performed: The Faint and Secret Machines. The Faint are a band that's been on Conor Oberst's Saddle Creek records for years. Secret Machines is a Krautrock influence
