Venturi is a device that creates a vacuum when a fluid flows through it.  The fluid that creates the vacuum is known as the motor fluid.  The driving fluid of the irrigation injectors is the irrigation water itself.  The vacuum created by the venturi draws fertilizer or chemical into the motive water. How does a venturi work? Our venturi is water powered, meaning they are driven by pressure from the irrigation main.  The energy to run these devices reduces the pressure of the irrigation water in the water line.
