The bright colors and unruly brush strokes in the sky represent that chaos, while the calming, straight colors and strokes of the temple and grounds convey peace and stability. Artist Bio: Megan Rieker grew up in Maryland in a family of 8. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in General Fine Arts and a Masters’ Degree in Art Teaching from Maryland Institute, College of Art in 1996. She married Mark Rieker in 1992 and together have 3 boys, a Daughter-in-law and a grandson. They have been stationed in Germany, Italy, Korea, Colorado Springs CO, Goodyear AZ, Washington DC and just recently moved to Utah.
