Victorian Anglo-Colonial wood brass-Inlaid travel chest or strong box on later stand, of rectangular form, with hinged top and cleated sides and corners, the metal-lined interior with spring-loaded divided tray and several secret compartments. The box 19th Century. The stand with square legs and H-shaped stretcher, later 20th Century.  Box 10" H. x 21" W. x 11 1/2" W. Stand: 14" H., Total Height: 24" (The back with a crack to wood, typical of age.)
