SOLD Unique George III Sterling Silver Caddy Spoon by Cooks & Bettridge. This very rare caddy spoon is referred to as the Pastern Hoof because it resembles the shape of the pastern of a horse. The bowl of the spoon has a raised pierced gallery and the center is engraved with a basket-weave motif. The handle is quite short with a curl design. This spoon is in excellent condition and in great shape. 1 2/3" L. Birmingham, England. Dated 1818. Weight 0.207 ozt. Marks to bowl. Price includes s and h.
