Old Dominion University Old Dominion University’s waterfront campus lies at the heart of Norfolk, Virginia. Nestled between two rivers and surrounded by beaches (including one on campus!), ODU is where the military, maritime, and Monarchs meet. Through doctors and nurses, mermaids and lions, and plenty of clear blue water, artist Alicia Bruce highlights all that makes Old Dominion.  Be sure to look out for Big Blue, and rub his belly for good luck!  A former meteorologist, Alicia is now a successful independent artist, creating art with her heart while living in Virginia with her husband and two dogs.
