Every Sympathetic Step

Acrylic on canvas, 16 x 20 x .6" This painting is an expression of my movement through the landscape. There is so much joy, motion, and aliveness in the cloud-like forms surrounding the reflection. This is in contrast to the frozen reflection of treetops and the sky. The two: our perception of the natural world around us, and the lively expression of what it is like to experience the natural world, are in contrast and conversation with each other here.
