Resting easy, keeping work in its separate place. (Canvas)

13 x 23 inches Acrylic, Pastel, Watercolor on Canvas Small unstretched canvas. It can be framed like paper.  This painting has been on the wall of my studio for months. I first added the wreath, which is made of rosemary and juniper, symbols of abundance. Then I noticed that this portion represents work, and I thought it would be helpful to separate it from the rest of the mountain, which represents the rest of my life. A candle creates a vigil for the importance of rest and time away from work.
