Bumble Bee Linocut Relief Print

This piece features a spot illustration of the bumblebee, especially the Common Eastern Bumble Bee. On a hike through the Appalachian Trail, I found myself crosses paths with tired, hurt bees. I spent some time with them at our campsites, and after protecting them from the wind, rain, and predators, I created a safe place for them to save up the energy to fly again. As one of the most humbling and eye opening experiences of my life, my time spent on the AT inspired me to take action for nature conservation.
