Sunset Bend

Title: Sunset Bend Photographer: Jerry LoFaro  Location: Henniker, New Hampshire Caption:  I spend a lot of time photographing around The Contoocook River in my town throughout the year, and in fact the title of my next book is “Henniker, New Hampshire - A River Runs Through It.”  As I was driving around that day, I noticed an unusual band of clouds in the distance. By the time I turned down Western Ave along the river, they were flaring out like wings, and I pulled over at just the right spot to create a dramatic composition! I love the mix of flowing dynamics, cool shadows, warmth and of course, the clouds. This photo is meant to accompany “Winter Flow” and “Footprints In The Snow” for those who would like the option of exhibiting a set of complimentary Winter images.
