What drew me to this cultivar was the fact that it is native to Tahiti and I am always looking for crops that perform well in hot tropical climates since I am located in Florida. This variety produces an extra long and thick neck which is full of squash flesh and no seeds except for in the cavity at the bottom. Therefore, you get a lot of usable butternut squash. It also boast one of the highest sugar contents of all butternut squash cultivars. Vines are rampant and sprawl out over 15 feet in length. Harvestable squash normally get between 12-20 lbs.
