This variety usually starts producing at around 50 days from direct sowing the seeds into the ground. It starts producing ahead of the traditional green varieties. This is a bush bean, meaning it grows into compact bushes which is great for small gardens. No need for trellising. Pods are stringless, tender, and gorgeous when cooked. This variety is also known as "Topnotch".
