When I embark on a new board project, the first step is collecting raw materials. As I work with the materials, I generate three byproducts: sawdust, scraps, and usable wood.I dispose of sawdust by bagging it, while I box up scraps and give them to my neighbors for firepit wood. The usable wood left over from other boards becomes the foundation for this project. I use wood sourced from recent projects, creating an archive of what I worked on during that time.  In this second edition I was able to keep the designs for each board the same. It's fascinating to observe how the grain presentation can affect the tone of the boards, even among the same wood types. Wood is truly beautiful.I didn't expect the boards from this project to be as interesting as they turned out to be. I'm proud to share them with you, as they have a lot of personality.
