The ingredients of 27 Perfectseal Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating are mineral fibers, petroleum solvents, and specific asphalts combined with color flakes of pure aluminum. Aluminum flakes fall to the surface of the roof when 27 Perfectseal Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating is applied, covering the roof substrate with a metallic, reflecting shield. This metallic aluminum shield has the following two benefits:  A. The reflective qualities of the aluminum shield the asphaltic oils in the roof from the sun's dangerous, strong rays. This metal barrier reflects more than 50% of the sun's rays, keeping the oils from being "cooked" out of the roof substrate. As a result, the coating keeps its tough qualities and won't dry out or fracture too soon. B. 27 Perfectseal Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating will assist lower interior building temperatures and enhance living and working conditions throughout the sweltering summer months.
