Charles II Period Oak Serving Table

A Charles II period oak side (or serving) table with paneled front rail. The two center panels of this rail have a raised prism-shape at the center while the two end panels have a small dome in the center. These panels are framed by molded rails. The boldly turned baluster-shaped legs are connected by box stretchers all around. The plain rail on the back indicates this table was made to use against a wall. Retaining an outstanding color and patina with all the expected stains and marks indicating an old surface. Circa 1660 Origin English Stock# 13828 Width 66" Depth 29" Height 32"
