Coastal Calm (9x12)

Coastal Calm, 2023 Months ago, I was taking a walk at low tide when I came across the most beautiful tide pools. I was so inspired by the way the texture of the sand contrasted with the glistening water that days later, I found myself thinking about it. These pieces are the result of months of experimentation and my attempt at bringing the magic of the tide pools to life. DETAILS Artwork is 9 x 1.5 x 12"    This piece was created on linen & wood panel using acrylic paint, coffee, limestone powder, sand and resin. A maple frame is included. The frame adds 1" (1/2" on each side) to the total dimensions of the painting and it is 2.5" deep. The piece is sprayed with multiple coats of UV protectant varnish.
