
Ron Zacapa Centenario XO
Composed from blend of rums between 6 to 25 years old, in a 鈥淪istema Solera鈥?ageing process, overseen by master blender Lorena Vazquez with a final extra blend in ageing process in French oak barrels. Ron Zacapa is matured at an altitude of 2,300 and is a perfect blend of sweetness, spice, fruit and spirit. It is matured in casks previously used to age bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherries before the final blend in French oak barrels. This rum comes in an elegant bottle, making it the ideal addition to a rum collection. Mahogany color, clear bronze and amber, with intense red hits of long barrel ageing at the rim and long, slow legs revealing its sweetness. A very open nose with a wealth of aromas which evolve over time. It evenly balances out Brazil nuts, mature toasted Oak, burnt caramel, Christmas spice, dry-roasted nuts, marzipan and orange peel. Wonderfully complex sweetness and full bodied fresh apricot and dried fruit, such as sultana, date and prune, sweet Oak and spices
