Samurai is the first brand we've seen to celebrate an anniversary for 2 years! This is the final iteration of their limited edition 25oz Special Selvedge to commemorate their 25th year as a brand. The Ganryu-Jima battle is one of the most talked about and well-known in all of Japan. Musashi Miyamoto was said to have shown up late to defeat Kojiro Sasaki with a wooden sword he carved from an oar. You'll notice that the flasher artwork and leather patch are very reminiscent of the iconic leather patch used on almost every other pair of Samurai. This battle was likely the inspiration for the brand's initial artwork. This series was all about providing the heaviest, gnarliest, neppiest version of the brand to show off its denim-making prowess.
