This a GORGEOUS, TOP GEM-QUALITY piece of amber with a PRISTINE HUGE COCKROACH from the late Cretaceous of Myanmar! The Roach shows fantastic preservation, complete and fully articulated segments, limbs, and antennae with terrific detail! The amber is gorgeous gold citrine with EXCELLENT GEM QUALITY clarity! The amber's dimensions measure 17 x 11.6 x 5.6 millimeters and weighs .657 grams! The Roach is just over 10 mm (.4 inches) which is huge for an insect in burmite which are normally 1-2 mm! It comes in a floating frame with a stand, blown up pictures of the inclusions, and detailed information for easy transport and a beautiful display! Amber is petrified tree resin (not sap, resin is much thicker).
