Starting in mid-elementary, students are starting to learn how to note-take. They transition over from learning how to read to learning how to read to learn. We wanted to put a fun spin on it and provide them with a template and fun designs for jotting down their notes.  Use the spaces to jot down their notes while reading! Fill in the fun shapes with interesting facts, doodle around the shapes, and let them write their facts in a creative way. So use your finger to feel which side has the raised white engraved lines and then use the opposite side which is the smooth side (not the side it's been engraved on).
