1960s Mod Jumpsuit
I saw this on possibly the most gorgeous woman of that decade (and a few since), onthe dance floor at Shepheard’s at The Drake. An after-hours thing, after a show at the Garden. (She was with the band and I was not.) For hours, she danced the Wah-Watusi and the Frug and captivated an entire room of people nearly as beautiful as she was. I never saw her again until I picked up a copy of a fashion magazine at Heathrow. There she was on the cover, lanky, lithe, impossibly beautiful. You would know her name if I told you. 1960s Mod Jumpsuit (No. J8265). Retro sophistication in a wonderfully mod print. A callback to the spirit of the ‘60s when attitudes and clothes became bolder in a new way, Silky viscose jumpsuit with a mandarin collar, wide legs, and a psychedelic floral print. Invisible zipper at center back. Imported.
