These gold-plated whetstones are the perfect accessory to get the most out of your blade sharpening! The-Golden-Elites is an upgrade from The-4-Essentials that comes with your ItsJustSharp™ Blade Sharpener. They deliver almost equal grit values but the gold plating does the job in 1/3 of the time. We recommend using 240 - 600 grit to remove chips along the edge or to restore an unusually dull blade (Rough Sharpening). We recommend using 1000 - 1600 grit for normal sharpening (Fine Sharpening).
