A Photographic Essay, fine art photographer Cheryl Aden examines this stream of lies and untruths with thirty-one images of apples and oranges that perfectly capture our current moment.  Each image is accompanied by a quote from various novelists, poets, philosophers, activists, saints, spiritual teachers and more from across the ages, such as Lao Tzu, John Keats, St. Catherine of Siena, Søren Kierkegaard, Flannery O'Connor, Thomas Hobbes, Malcolm X, George Orwell, and Ann Landers.   Cheryl Aden is a fine art photographer living in New York City. She trained academically as an actress, but segued to a role behind the camera when she left the theatre and film world to become a photographer.
