The specs: 50 grams, 137 yards, 100% Merino wool, worsted weight, washable The love: This precious 100% Merino “Gentile di Puglia” short yarn wool yarn is spun from sheep lovingly raised in the countryside of southern Italy. It has a slightly elastic and dry touch, and creates zero pilling making it ideal for all stitch work. It is also particularly suited to Fair-Isle stranded stitchwork and Nordic style colorful pullover sweaters and cardigans - and cables!   This yarn and its worsted weight sister Matera, are destined to become some of my favorite wools!  Amazing stitch definition, warming wooly, amazing hand, and a great price, too!
