Calendula Salve *Harvest Batch*

Welcome to harvest season once again! For this year's harvest-batch, we crafted an easy-to-apply calendula salve. Hand poured into push-up recyclable tubes and now JARS for you major calendula-heads! This salve is made from our garden grown calendula flowers, extra virgin olive oil, and beeswax. This simple recipe is fragrance free, gentle on skin and powerful on irritation and dryness. The perfect product to support your skin for the upcoming winter.  How do we make the calendula oil? This is our fifth year making calendula oil in house and we believe we've found the best method to process the blooms into something truly robust, because when extracted correctly, these flowers pack a punch. We plant the seeds in the spring and tend to them for the growing season, snipping the flower heads periodically to dry and store. For the most potent product, we do a heat extraction with extra virgin olive oil. Much of the beneficial qualities of calendula lie in the resin concentrated in the flow
