Stunning, rare, large, antique, silver plate, serving tray with portrait medallion handles. It has an . Made by Manhattan Plate Co circa 1856-1871. The face has an etched Aesthetic/ Greek Revival design. On each handle is a portrait medallion of a solder. This tray is a gorgeous piece of history and in absolutely amazing condition. It's solid and heavy and can be used and displayed for generations to come. This tray is still in wonderful, antique condition. Has expected signs of use like light surface scratches. Very slight copper coming through on medallion. No obvious damage. Measurements: approx 27 1/2" long handle to handle 22 1/4" without handles x 16 3/8" wide Marks: Manhattan NY Plate Co The tray is in great antique condition.
