SeeUV® VIBES®-L Landing Gear UV Camera Inspection System

Details The SeeUV® Video Inspection & Bore Examination System (VIBES®-L) is a cart-based Ultraviolet (UV) camera system. It is designed to carry out both UV and white light internal inspections related to fluorescent test methods such as Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). These inspection methods are used on large aircraft components, such as shafts, drums, and spools from engines and landing gear parts. Non-aircraft components such as gun tubes are subject to these test methods as well. VIBES®-L provides life-like color video images using a camera optimized for both white and UV illumination. The system’s high-resolution color images, precise mechanical positioning, and ease of use result in an improved probability of detection (POD), reduced operator fatigue, and greater inspection productivity.
