Ending Self-Destructive Patterns — Behavior is considered to be self-sabotaging when it interferes with our goals and objectives. That said, not everyone recognizes their own self-destructive behaviors. Many question why it is that they just don’t seem to be able to make the best ideas work. It’s not uncommon to hear something like this, “Just before everything works, something seems to go wrong, and it all fails.” Recognizing our own self-destructive patterns requires admitting that we just might be dealing with the common fears that can unconsciously lead to our failure—fears such as the fear of success. Self-sabotage is often the way your subconscious protects you from being hurt again. That old saying, “You are your own worst enemy” can be very true.
