3 COUPLING, ABS ABS fittings are for drain, waste, and vent purposes only. They are used in gravity fed waste elimination systems and are for non-Pressure where temperatures will not exceed 180°. ABS materials are light weight and easy to install. They require no special tools for cutting and are installed by solvent cementing (no primer required). Black fittings are used in sanitary drain, waste, and vent (DWV), sewer and storm drainage applications Not intended for pressure use Maximum working temperature of 180°F ABS foam core pipe is installed by solvent cementing (no primer required) Require no special tools for cutting Maximum working pressure 5 psi
