The strap system is wider and the elasticized waist strap carries more of the weight, reducing the load on the shoulders. The shoulder straps adjust at the front, eliminating any buckles or adjusters over the shoulder or under shoulder straps. The back of the panel is padded with D3 cloth for comfort and breathability. The full-size back pocket is big enough for a notebook or folded map. The radio pocket is adjustable for a secure fit, and a zippered front pocket can be used to hold spare batteries or other small items.
