c. 1910s/1920s; mfd. by Automatic Recording Safe Co. for Second Security Bank of Chicago Antique Chicago bank lockbox. This piece was salvaged from the Security Bank of Chicago, which used to sit at the corner of Milwaukee and Western (though its address is technically at 1965 Milwaukee). Once a multi-story banking operation, this was the second of the Security Banks opened in the city (the first being at Chicago and Ogden Aves.) It features a derial tag across the front, small slot in the top and keyhole (key not included). Has not been opened in-shop.
