Arbor press soft upper die

This soft upper die for our Arbor press will really let you stretch metal quickly and accurately. The effect can be similar to the walnuts that a hammer and a shot bag produce, or more gentle doming just by changing the lower die you are pushing onto. I use this in the shop quite often to make a nice detail in a part with a flat lower die and a pattern plate to make very clean details and features in parts. A little creative thinking and the sky is the limit!!
