Size: 28.7 x 40.6 in (73 x 103 cm).   Artist's vision  Her work is born from the observation of different scales in nature, like microorganisms, geology, human anatomy, etc. She draws by manipulating dry and dusty materials like graphite, pencil, charcoal, and pastels. "I play with these materials on paper using my hands spreading and pressing them; I also employ an eraser to remove, and clean specific areas to recover light." JOSEFINA FREDERICK resorts to monochrome as a way to veil the images and create a special atmosphere, moving farther from the referrer, to focus on the act of making.
