  This hotshoe is compatible with housings produced pre-2025 (serial numbers below 81200). For newer housings, refer to the NL4 Auto Hotshoe for Nikon Cameras. Starting January 1, 2025, we have transitioned to an improved bulkhead and hotshoe connector system. Read about the advantages of the new system and how to upgrade legacy housings. See also the Hotshoe Compatibility Chart.   Replacement TTL hotshoe for select Ikelite housings for Nikon DSLR cameras featuring an easy disconnect hotshoe. All 5 conductors are wired for TTL operation when used in conjunction with compatible TTL accessories and strobe. Ikelite DS strobes should never be connected directly to a camera using this hotshoe without a compatible TTL Converter in between. Failure to heed this warning will apply power to the camera and may cause unusual behavior and possibly permanent damage to the camera's hotshoe.
