Early 20th Century Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet with English Fob Charms
This sterling silver fob bracelet is a lovely mixture of different eras collected and created into a one of a kind piece. The chunky bracelet is a cool curb link with a toggle clasp, dating somewhere between the 1930s to the 50s. The fob charms are English and Late Victorian. -The shield charm sporting a crown has a Birmingham England hallmark and dates to 1917, the defining year of WW1 (and the title of a very good movie). - The maltese cross is also from Birmingham and dates from 1900 during the late-Victorian era. It bears the makers mark for Constantine & Floyd silversmiths who owned a shop in Birmingham’s illustrious Jewellery Quarter (located at 14 Regent Place to be exact) home to the famous gold and silversmiths of the age. -The final charm, a shield fob with a horseshoe design, is unmarked, but also from the early 20th century like the other two fobs. It's a very successful marriage, and perfectly on point in today’s fashion craze of chains and charms! Hal
