Ski-Doo Gen5 Backcountry

Heavy duty replacement slide rails for your Gen5 Chassis Ski-Doo Backcountry 2024 or newer. These are designed to fit your Backcountry with C-Motion X rear suspension. Cut from 7000 series aluminum on our proprietary Lightweight extrusion allowing for maximum strength and minimal weight. Arm spacing is the same for 146-175" so you can stretch or shorten your sled either direction. Kits come with 2 rails, 2 hyfax, fasteners and instructions.   Rails are pre-drilled to accept our ULTRALIGHT rail braces for g5/g4. These go under the rear bump stops and bridge the low center section of the rail required by the summit's suspension design. This allows you to maintain maximum rail strength on big impacts without sacrificing skid travel by increasing rail height. ULTRALIGHT rail braces are highly recommended for Summit riders who like to hit jumps and drops, or are on stock suspension. CLICK HERE TO VIEW.   DURING INSTALL IT IS IMPORTANT TO FILE/GRIND THE TRANSITION OF THE HYFAX/SLIDES TO THE RAIL TIPS TO ENSURE THERE IS NOT A LIP ON THE FRONT EDGE OF THE HYFAX FOR TRACK CLIPS TO CATCH   PLEASE AVOID POWDERCOATING OR OTHER COATINGS THAT REQUIRE A BAKE PROCESS - THIS REMOVES THE TEMPER FROM OUR RAILS, WEAKENING THEM SIGNIFICANTLY AND VOIDING ALL WARRANTIES
