On August 25, 2024, I captured a shot of a rare phenomena known as a "Sprite." These are transient luminous events that happen far above powerful thunderstorms and are captured under dark skies at distances of over 100 miles or more. To capture this with such color and detail was a bucket list goal and required precise shooting under near perfect conditions.
