2pcs Level III+ ballistic plate 6x8" side plates

Note, price is per set of 2 pieces.  Hudi's Tactical Level III+ Ballistic Armor Side Plate weights in at only 1.6 pounds each and measures 6x8". There are 2 versions, vertical & horizontal. Featuring a slim 0.7" profile and ergonomic curvature. They're a great match to the other NIJ Level 3+ plates. The vertical plates features edge to edge ceramics, ensuring full protection of the sides against top threats. The ballistic plates are made from silicon carbide ceramics with a polyethylene backplate (itself rated at NIJ Level IIIA). We tested the larger version with 2 rounds of 7.62 NATO M80, 2 rounds of 5.56 M193 and 2 rounds of 5.56 M855. None of them penetrated the plate. The only significant deformation is when a 7.62 NATO round struck 1.5" from the edge.
