The new D15-Chimera & Supercharger ... Years ago, Dr. Hsu introduced the turbocharger for the VTF-3. It was a unique concept that allows the VTF-3 in max extension mode to have both ports open, allowing high output ultra low bass with minimal port noise.  Fast forward to 2025, and Dr. Hsu again introduce another unique concept - a supercharger! In this case, we are transforming the sealed D15 Chimera into The Beast by adding the supercharger to it. This unique concept has the following advantages over other approaches: Modular system allowing customers to start out with the sealed D15 Chimera and upgrading to the super powerful, ultra deep bass monster, The Beast by adding the supercharger. Having the system in two parts means it's much easier to unpack, move and install the system. This is especially so if you are installing the subwoofer in a basement or second floor. We have designed the supercharger such that you have the option of either having the ports face directly into th
