Honestly SpINKing  Epson 252XL Compatible Refillable Cartridge Quick Start Sets are prefilled with either Pigment Ink or Sublimation Ink. The starter sets are pre-filled and primed so they are ready to use straight from the packaging. (( If your printer is brand new and has NEVER been initialized/used we HIGHLY recommend starting with the included Epson 252-I cartridges that came with your printer even if you are converting to sublimation.))  When ready to use all you have to do is remove the back translucent vent plug, place in your printer and run 1 print head cleaning. When you are ready to refill you can fill with our Honestly SpINKing line of ink or your refill ink of choice as long as it is rated for the Epson Workforce(WF) printers to match their color profiles  Our 252XL Refillable Cartridges have an ARC (Auto Reset Chip). Once the printer has indicated that the ink should be exhausted you will receive a Cartridge Not Recognized Alert. Simply open the top take the cartridge out
