This small half-track, designed during the 1930s, was used extensively by the German army during the Second World War in all theatres of operation. Originally intended as a towing vehicle for medium-light artillery, it was increasingly employed as a platform for 20 mm antiaircraft guns. The Sd.Kfz. 10 featured good off-road performance that allowed it to operate in extreme conditions, from the African desert to the Russian steppe.
