MENS JEANS GRADING/PATTERNMAKING CHART
I have never seen a grading chart for sale in the retail realm and this is why I am selling it. What is a grading chart though? According to FIT NY: Grading is the process of taking the initial sample pattern (e.g. a size 8) and making the full range of sized patterns (sizes 2-24) for production. It is a separate industry from patternmaking and sample creation. Once a garment goes into production, grading the pattern is the first step. Then the patterns for all the sizes in production must be laid out in a marker, or pattern layout which includes pattern pieces for all sizes in production, for maximum fabric conservation. Now for the translation... If you want to make your jeans patterns in all sizes and feel the energy of pattern making this is a must-have. This is a key to the game... Think of it like a cheat sheet to a game of connecting the dots but it turns into a jean pattern. Holla if yall got any questions and if this message is here ... I will personally assist you. Join the
