Steel Wiregate Captive Pin Carabiner

These are CTW's straight wiregate steel carabiner. They include a (optional) hammer-in pin to make a captive eye. They're great for permadraws, particularly where more wear resistance is desired. They're zinc-plated for corrosion resistance.    They're rated by the manufacturer and made in Taiwan.  Weight: 122 g, or 125 g (with pin) Dimensions: 115 mm x 60 mm Gate opening: 27 mm Strength (gate closed, major axis) : 30 kN Strength (gate closed, minor axis) : 10 kN Strength (gate open, major axis) : 10 kN   In our independent break-testing, we got 40 kN along the major axis (gate closed).
