Introduction to Wheel Throwing with Dustin from Studio TM! Monday, August 26 7:00PM - 9:00PM Studio T/M is a family-owned pottery studio dreamt up and realized by Sara Truman and Dr. Naomi Mostkoff located off Main Street in Gainesville, FL. Dedicated to bringing clay to the community, Sara and Naomi offer scholarships to LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals, discounts for teachers, and actively work to make clay accessible to everyone as they recognize the many barriers that surround pottery. At the studio, they make, display, and sell their work alongside staff work and curated member displays, and offer community classes, one-day workshops (known as Sip N Spins), weekend workshops with visiting ceramicists, and private lessons. Our incredible instructors help support our community of makers and offer their expertise in the classroom during class and generously outside of it on both sides of the classroom and member spaces.
