As the plant ages, the leaves take on a more pointed and triangular shape with large lobes that look similar to a horsehead. The Philodendron Bipennifolium Aurea grows in a climbing manner when provided with a support. The plant can be kept in a compact form if no support is provided and with simple pruning.
