Hooves are kept supple, and split/crack resilient. Kevin Bacon's Hoof Dressing is also designed to resist bacteria, forming a physical barrier that encourages healthy horn growth. A tar based product, it is enriched with 10% added vegetable tar, without an unpleasant scent. Unlike oil based products this dressing absorbs nicely in the hoof instead of sitting on the surface.
