Needle Felting Workshop with Whimsical Woolies - Pumpkins

There is something special about needle felted pumkins! In this perfect beginner friendly class, make a blue, white or orange pumpkin. We will learn how to make a stem over wire and finish it off with some colorful tendril curls! Needle felting is a process that sculpts wool into any shape you can imagine. Wool fibers are covered with scales. In needle felting we use special barbed needles that lock the scales of the fiber together. What this looks like is stabbing fluffy colorful wool repeatedly to sculpt a soft sculpture. Farren is a fiber artist located in West Chester PA specializing in all things squishy and wool.  She is passionate about teaching sustainable and accessible art classes and finds inspiration in our bountiful natural world.
